About Ms. Charlotte - Music Teacher, Piano & Vocal Instructor

Ms. Charlotte has been a music teacher for 25 years. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance and Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Asbury University in Kentucky.   She also completed 17 credits towards her Masters of Arts in Music Education from Long Beach State University.  After working in K-12 music education for 10 years, she decided to pursue her lifelong dream of teaching early childhood music. Ms. Charlotte received her early childhood training from Lynn Kleiner, while teaching for Music Rhapsody in Redondo Beach, California. It was during her time at Music Rhapsody that she was introduced to the Simply Music and Play a Story method. 

Following her time at Music Rhapsody she started teaching these methods at various locations around Southern California. She moved with her family to Colorado in 2020 and taught music for District 11 for 2 years but continued to dream of starting her own business incorporating these creative methods she had grown to love.  Ms. Charlotte launched her music business in the summer of 2023 where she truly gets to do what she loves in Colorado Springs.  It's her desire that through these methods students will learn that they are both musical and creative and thus be inspired to share that musical gift with others.
