Level IV: Rhythm Readers (5-6 Years)

Your elementary aged child will love this action-packed, social and creative music class.  Songs and games reinforce concepts taught in the younger classes: beat, rhythm, melody, form, harmony, expressive qualities. Improvisation continues and beginning notation is now taught in these elementary music classes for ages 5-6. Visual and written work is included in these lessons.

Kids not only have fun with music but also begin to explore rhythm, melody, and early music literacy in a structured yet playful environment. 

Class Times:

Tuesdays or Wednesdays | 12:35PM - 1:20PM

Location: Wilson Christian Preschool

In each class, children will engage in interactive activities like clapping out rhythms, singing along to familiar tunes, and using instruments to explore musical patterns. Our elementary music classes focus on helping kids develop important foundational skills such as rhythm recognition, pitch awareness, and even the basics of reading music.
