The Music Rhapsody curriculum uses methodologies which entertain while educating. Music lessons are taught through fun, engaging activities which have a long-term impact on musical and academic learning.
Developed by founder Lynn Kleiner, Music Rhapsody’s award-winning music education program is based on Orff Schulwerk, a creative teaching philosophy. These music classes are joyful and game-like, full of singing, dancing, and instrument playing, with stories, props, puppets, and imagination!
Looking for a creative, educational way to enrich your school or program? Music and Play COS brings Music and Movement Classes directly to your homeschooling groups, preschools, and daycares, offering an unforgettable experience for children ages 0-6.
Children practice matching an external beat using a single motion per beat. We often practice playing the beat on drums or rhythm sticks. Rhythm to words is not played on the instruments until the student has mastered the beat.
Our curriculum is designed to provide a comprehensive music education, covering a wide range of styles and genres. We offer lessons in piano, guitar, voice, drums, violin, and more. Our faculty is highly trained and experienced, and we use the latest teaching methods and technology to enhance the learning experience.
We believe that performing is an essential part of learning music. That's why we offer numerous opportunities for our students to showcase their skills, including recitals, concerts, and competitions. We also have a student ensemble program, where students can collaborate with their peers and perform in a group setting.

Music Rhapsody nurtures a deep love of music by providing a fun, age-appropriate environment for children to express their natural musical tendencies. Each age group will have a variety of instruments and activities. As they grow with the program, the level of difficulty will increase, and their joy for music will too.
In our music classes for kids, younger children will play quality percussion instruments like triangles, hand drums, and maracas that are developmentally appropriate. Older kids will begin playing barred instruments (glockenspiels, xylophones, & metallophones) which help in developing their sense of pitch, tonality, and playing as a group.
Based upon the proven “Orff Schulwerk” methodology, our children will be immersed into music they will love. Diving right into real music keeps attentions while providing a structured environment for them to learn. With the Music Rhapsody program, children will hear and interact with a wide variety of tonalities, tempos, and styles along with being exposed to a variety of classical music. Simple visuals are presented in the older classes which represent beats and sounds on the beat in preparation for music notation. This exposure provides a solid foundation for further, advanced lessons.
